Iron Scorch
A 3D artillery tank game in real time. Turn the turret, set the angle and the power, fire — then wait for the shell to land and correct. Two to eight tanks on one island, against bots or against friends over Wi-Fi.
Work in progress. Screenshots are from version 0.9, October 2026; a few show the Polish interface.
What It Is
Iron Scorch takes the artillery duels of the classic games of the nineties and plays them live, in 3D. Nobody waits for a turn: everyone aims, fires and drives at the same time, shells are in the air while you are already correcting your aim, and the wind pushes every one of them.
A match is a series of rounds. Hits earn money, and the shop — before a round and during it — turns money into bigger shells, guided missiles, earth movers and shields. The last tank, or the last team, standing takes the round.
Prefer it the old way? Switch the match to turn-based, or make the tanks stand still so that only aim counts.
Features
💥97 weapons and shields
Shells, salvos, cluster rounds, guided missiles, energy weapons, earth weapons and tools — each with its own name — plus shields that deflect, bounce, catch or shoot back.
🛡Five tanks, eight commanders
An all-rounder, a heavy, a light, an artillery piece and an assault tank — and a commander who adds an edge of their own: faster reloads, steadier shells in the wind, more money for hits, a tank that repairs itself.
🏝An island to fight over
Hills and mountains, roads, forests, fences and houses, in four map sizes. Trees, rocks and houses stop a tank; bushes and fences it simply rams through.
🌧Six kinds of weather
Sun, clouds, rain, a storm, snow and fog — with their own light and sound — and a wind that can be fixed or random.
🤖Bots that fight back
Play alone against up to seven tanks driven by the computer, at five levels of difficulty, each for itself or in teams.
📶Network game
One player hosts, up to seven join over the same Wi-Fi or LAN — Windows and Android together. Empty seats can be filled with bots, and a bot takes over when somebody drops out.
🎯See where it lands
A minimap marks where your shells came down, and a window follows your own shell in flight — small under the map or large on the left. The camera sits behind the turret or behind the hull, or looks down from above.
⏳Live or turn-based
Everything at once, or one tank at a time. Tanks that drive, or tanks that stand and move only with a Move Tank item. And a proving ground with every weapon and shield to try.
🎛Keys, mouse or touch
On a computer: keyboard and mouse. On a phone: a joystick for driving, a dial for the turret and two bars for angle and power — and the same touch controls work with a mouse.
🔊Sound and music
Shots and explosions that depend on the weapon, the weather in the background, the engine under you — and music, each with its own switch in the options.
🎓Train together
In a network game the host can turn the match into training: every weapon and shield without limit, nobody loses, a destroyed tank is back after a moment — and the AI tanks stand still as targets.
